Lava Pulse: Feature phone with a difference

Its not unusual these days to see phones with unique features all thanks to improvement in technology and of which keeping track of ones health stats is of upmost importance.

An Indian handset company, Lava International Limited recently launched new feature phone, Lava Pulse. The uniqueness of this feature phone is that it comes with a heart rate and blood pressure sensor and as we know it is the first of its kind.

The sensor is located on the back of the phone next to the camera. All you need do is to place your fingertip on the ‘pulse scanner’ and the display will show the blood Pressure and heart rate readings. Users also have the option to save this data on their phones for future reference and share with others through messages, so says the company.

Others features of the phone includes:

  • Camera with video recording support.
  • 32GB expandable storage support and 32MB RAM.
  • Photo icons for saving contacts.
  • Auto call recording.

The phone is available in Rose Gold colour option and can purchase online via Amazon and Flipkart, and also available across retail stores.
